ETACC Volunteer Opportunities 2006 East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce activities offer you great business networking opportunities and additional marketing exposure for your business or organization. For further information on any of the committees or volunteer opportunities listed please contact the chamber office (262) 642-3770 or E-mail: bhotz@easttroywi.org Ambassador Committee: Ambassadors make direct contact with new chamber members to welcome, assist and orient them to the chamber. They promote and facilitate chamber "welcome" efforts by acting as greeters, mentors and a resource for questions about benefits of chamber membership. Business Marketing Committee: A varied group of member businesses meet to create joint marketing events and promotions benefiting the Chamber and individual businesses. Corn & Brat Roast: Annual summer 3-day weekend (Memorial Day) corn & brat sale is a fundraiser for the Chamber. Give your business/organization extra exposure by wearing your business logo items when you volunteer at this heavily attended event. Golf Outing: Annual fundraiser for the Chamber-includes an auction and prize giveaways. Promote your business/organization with a donation to the auction or greet area businesses and community members while assisting with the event check-in. Business After Five: BAF’s offer an opportunity to invite chamber members to visit and tour your business/organization in a special focused after business hours setting. Generally one BAF takes place per month. Contact: Barb Hotz 262-642-3770 Director- ET Chamber of Commerce to schedule yours. Board of Directors: Elected Chamber Board members are requested to serve two-year terms and meet monthly to direct the focus and activity of the Chamber of Commerce. Check the chamber web site for current representatives www.easttroywi.org Chamber Office: Volunteer time and talent is always welcome for assistance with answering phones, doing Chamber mailings, special projects and more. Speaking and Educational Opportunity: Present information about your business or, the business interests of the general community, at a Chamber function. Create and present educational seminars directed to Chamber members. |
