East Troy Chamber Announces Expo Raffle Winners
 
            Thanks to contributions from area businesses, four lucky local residents won raffle prizes at East Troy Expo 2010, presented by the East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce March 20.
            Leah Cannizzaro of East Troy won the Taste of East Troy basket, containing items contributed by Cousins Subs, Competitive Car Care, Alpine Valley Music Theatre, Square Side Resale & Consignment, Cobblestone Bar & Restaurant, Purple Feet Wine, Ivan’s Unique Dining on the Square, Magic Touch Salon, Frank’s County Market, East Troy Shell, JT Interiors & Café, East Troy Electric Railroad, Fox Plumbing & Water Care LLC, Martin’s Hardware & Rental, Drink Outfitters and Associated Bank,
            Dennis Schultz of East Troy won the Healthy East Troy basket, containing items contributed by ProHealth Care, Mukwonago Wal-Mart, East Troy Acupuncture, Koskinen Eye Clinic, East Troy Family Dental, Aurora Pharmacy, Awakenings3 Bodywork, The Tea House Connection, Cousins Subs, Alpine Valley Resort, Competitive Car Care, Barsamian Chiropractic, Chiropractic First and Elkhorn Martial Arts.
            Jill Lois of East Troy won the East Troy Recreation basket, containing items donated by Mukwonago Wal-Mart, East Troy Electric Railroad, Salvation Army-Army Lake Camp, Edwards YMCA Camp, Not Just Beans, Timber-lee Christian Center, Realty Executives Integrity, Alpine Valley Resort, Competitive Car Care, Elkhorn Martial Arts, Alpine Valley Music Theatre, Thomas Szolwinski, First Citizens State Bank-East Troy Office and Lakes Area Rental.
            Wendy Verhalen of East Troy won $100 in Chamber Bucks gift certificates, which she can redeem at any Chamber member business.

CHAMBER PRESENTS AWARDS  AT ANNUAL DINNER
 
            The East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce recognized the achievements and contributions of its members Wednesday, Feb. 10 at its Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner at Ivan’s Backstage in East Troy.
            Chamber President Dan Heidelmeier from Not Just Beans presented Reenie and David Allen from Ivan’s Unique Dining on the Square with the Business of Year Award to recognize the business’ community involvement, positive entrepreneurship and successful business practices. Past President Lori Szolwinski from First Citizens State Bank-East Troy Office gave the President’s Award to Ann Zess from Allan Integrated Control Systems, Inc. for her dedication and leadership. Executive Director Katie Matteson recognized Carl Matteson with the Volunteer of the Year Award for his photographic contributions. Matteson also presented Szolwinski with a plaque on behalf of the Chamber in appreciation for her two years of service as Chamber president.
            The Chamber honored its 2010 Corporate Partners for their support of the Chamber beyond their annual membership investment, including Wisconsin Oven Corporation (Chairman - $2,000), Allan Integrated Control Systems Inc. (Executive - $1,000),  Citizens Bank of Mukwonago (Executive - $1,000), Lynch-East Troy (Executive -$1,000), Alpine Valley Music Theatre (Leader - $500), Amato Automotive Group (Leader - $500), CenturyLink (Leader - $500), First Citizens State Bank-East Troy Office (Leader - $500), Frank’s County Market ($500), James R. Taylor & Sons ($500) and ProHealth Care (Leader - $500).
Chamber members in attendance were treated to a presentation by Norm Carlson from the East Troy Electric Railroad, who shared the railroad’s plans to expand its operations while working in cooperation with the Chamber to raise East Troy’s profile as a destination to experience history.
