This area was once the site of a machine shop that has long been torn down. Tom Morrisey had a blacksmith shop and Fred Ebert had an auto repair shop here. Paul Larson and George O'Malley then built a service station. It was later operated for them by Jim Clancy, followed by Harry Reise. Mr. Eddie Avello opened the current shop; Main Street Motors in May 1995. The business deals with automobile sales, used cars, some car repairs, and a limousine service.
